 K-JAM Engraving Services is the brain child of Dean Hadfield, well-known within the engraving industry for his experience and expertise.
Dean started from humble beginnings helping out after school in the family trophy business before embarking on a career in signage. Dean offers through K-JAM Engraving Services over 25 years of experience in the engraving industry and is sure to assist you with expert advice, quality product and prompt service that you can only expect from dealing with professionals.

Making Signs
 Using a graphics program the Design, or Artwork, is created on the computer. It is then relayed to the plotter for engraving using a spinning cutting tool, or to the laser to transfer it to the plate. Artwork can be supplied by the customer or created and designed by K-JAM to customer specifications. Engraving can be filled with any colour in-fill required or left with the machine cut finish.
 Materials most commonly used for engraving include: Laminated Vinyl, Stainless Steel and Aluminium. Brass is available for limited applications only.

Braille
 Fully compliant with NCC 2011 Building Code of Australia (Specification D3.6), Australian Standard (AS1428.1-2009, Amdt No.1), and Disability (Access to Premises – Building) Standards 2010
From 1st May 2011 new building codes became effective (NNC BCA 2011) along with the new Disability (Access to Premises-Buildings) Standards 2010. Any new building open to the public, or existing buildings undergoing significant renovation, after this date, will be required to comply with these new standards. K-JAM has released its new 900 series Braille to comply with the new specifications, implemented by the new ‘Premises Standard’. The current 300 series Braille is still available for building works that do not fall under the new guidelines (ie building plans approved prior to 1/5/2011)
K-JAM can produce Braille signs to meet your individual needs.
In addition to our standard signage, Braille can be placed on any customised sign or push/pull plate. Braille is available on laminated vinyl, stainless steel, and aluminium.
  
 Customised Signage
Either select a sign from our extensive range or supply details of your individual requirements. We can customise any of our signs to meet your needs or create your own. For a quote, supply us with details of your custom sign via fax or e-mail, including as much information as possible.
 
Kick & Push/Pull Plates
K-JAM is a supplier of Kick Plates and Push/Pull Plates.
Kick Plates can be cut to size to meet your individual customer needs. Stainless Steel available include 0.9mm 1.2mm 1.5mm & 2.0mm. Screws included with drilled and countersunk plates.
Push/Pull Plates are available undrilled, with visible drilled and/or countersunk holes, concealed studs, with handle holes, and cylinder holes. Also available Engraved and/or with Braille.

 Aluminium Extrusion is available in Standard and Curved Designs.
The length can be trimmed to meet your needs.
Standard range heights: 25mm 38mm 50.5mm
